Title: AlstraSoft Video Share Enterprise Multiple Remote Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
AlstraSoft Video Share Enterprise is a video-sharing script implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to multiple remote vulnerabilities:
- An SQL-injection issue occurs because the application fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data to the 'id' parameter of the 'msg.php' script before using it in an SQL query.
- An unauthorized-access issue occurs because the 'siteadmin/useredit.php' script fails to require any authentication. This issue may allow an attacker to access and modify user profiles without administrative privileges.
Exploiting these issues could allow attackers to compromise the application, access or modify data or user profiles, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.
This issue affects Video Share Enterprise 4.3 and prior versions.
Affected Products:
- AlstraSoft Videa Sharing Enterprise 4.1
- AlstraSoft Video Sharing Enterprise 4.2
- AlstraSoft Video Sharing Enterprise 4.3
