Description:
SlimServe HTTPd is a web server by Whitsoft Development. SlimServe is designed for a small to medium sized environment.
It is possible for a remote user to cause a denial of service condition in SlimServe HTTPd server. Submitting a excessive user-supplied input argumenting a GET request will cause the server to crash.
A restart of the server is required in order to gain normal functionality.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could assist in further attacks against the target host.
