Title: Simple Plantilla PHP Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Simple Plantilla PHP is a content management system (CMS) implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The issues include:

- A local file-include vulnerability affecting the 'nfolder' parameter of the '/zadminxx/list_main_pages.php' script.

- An arbitrary file-upload vulnerability that can allow an attacker to upload arbitrary files by using double extensions in the filename.

Attackers can exploit the local file-include vulnerability using directory-traversal strings to execute local script code in the context of the application. Attackers can exploit the arbitrary file-upload to execute malicious PHP code in the context of the webserver process.

Exploiting these issues may allow attackers to compromise the application and the underlying system or to access sensitive information; other attacks are also possible.

Affected Products:

  • Cromosoft Simple Plantilla PHP
