Title: EasyMoblog Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
EasyMoblog is a blog application implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input. The issues include:
- Multiple SQL-injection vulnerabilities in the following scripts and parameters:
list_comments.php: i
add_comment.php: i, post_id
- A cross-site scripting vulnerability in the 'i' parameter of the 'img.php' script
Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, compromise the application, obtain sensitive information, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerability in the underlying database implementation.
EasyMoblog version 0.5.1 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
Affected Products:
- EasyMoblog EasyMoblog 0.5.1
