Title: IBM WebSphere Multiple Remote Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

IBM WebSphere Application Server is a utility for creating enterprise web applications.

IBM WebSphere Application Server is prone to multiple remote vulnerabilities. These issues include:

- an information-disclosure vulnerability when both file serving and dynacache are enabled. Specifically, an attacker can gain access to arbitrary JSP source code.

- an information disclosure vulnerability that allows attackers to gain access to sensitive information from traces.

- an unspecified security issue.

An attacker can exploit the information-disclosure vulnerabilities to gain access to sensitive information that may lead to other attacks. Very little information is known about the third issue. This BID will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.

Versions prior to 6.1.0.5 are vulnerable to these issues.

Affected Products:

  • IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1.0
  • IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1.0.1
  • IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1.0.2
  • IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1.0.3
  • IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1.0.4
