Title: GForge Advanced_Search.PHP Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
Gforge is an application for managing source code; it is written in PHP.
The application is prone to a cross-site scripting issue because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to the 'word' parameter of the 'advanced_search.php' script.
An attacker may exploit this vulnerability to perform cross-site scripting attacks on unsuspecting users in the context of the affected website. Successful exploits may allow attackers to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks.
