Title: Fix And Chip CMS Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Fix and Chip CMS is a content manager implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The issues include:

- A cross-site scripting issue in the 'id' parameter of the 'delete-announce' script.

- Multiple HTML-injection issues residing in the 'announcement' field of the 'staff.php' script and in all the input boxes when adding a new customer in the 'new-customer.php' script.

A successful exploit of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or steal cookie-based authentication credentials. Other attacks are also possible.

Version 1.0 is vulnerable to this issue; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • Fix and Chip Fix and Chip CMS 1.0
