Title: Hosting Controller FolderManager.ASPX Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Hosting Controller is a set of hosting automation tools implemented in ASP.

The application is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'BrowsePath' parameter of the 'FolderManager.ASPX' script. The problem occurs with specially crafted HTTP GET requests containing directory-traversal strings.

An attacker can exploit this issue to modify or retrieve arbitrary files in the context of the webserver process. This may aid in further attacks.

This issue affects version 7C; earlier versions may also be vulnerable.
