Title: Novell Netmail IMAP APPEND Denial of Service Vulnerability

Description:

Novell Netmail is a commercially available email and calendar system.

Novell Netmail is prone to a remotely exploitable denial-of-service vulnerability. A malformed IMAP APPEND argument can trigger this issue. Specifically, the condition may arise when an IMAP APPEND command specifies a single '(' character as an argument.

A successful exploit could let an authenticated remote attacker crash the affected server.
