Description:
Ozeki HTTP-SMS Gateway is an application that allows users to send and receive a large volume of SMS messages over IP SMS connections. This application is available for Microsoft Windows.
The application is prone to an information-disclosure vulnerability because it fails to protect sensitive information. Specifically, the username and passwords of users are stored in the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Ozeki\SMSServer\CurrentVersion\Plugins\httpsmsgate' registry in clear text. This registry is readable by all users.
An attacker can exploit this issue to access sensitive information that may aid the attacker in other attacks.
This issue affects version 1.0; other versions may also be affected.
