Description:
PHP Easy Download is a web-based download application implemented in PHP.
PHP Easy Download is prone to an arbitrary code-execution vulnerability because the application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'filename' parameter of the 'save.php' script. The application by default fails ro prevent unauthorized users from accessing the 'file_info/admin/' directory where the file is stored. An attacker may upload a malicious file using the affected script and execute it from the 'file_info/admin/descriptions' directory.
An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary server-side script code on an affected computer with the privileges of the webserver process. This may facilitate unauthorized access.
PHP Easy Download 1.5 is affected.
