Title: Inventory Manager Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

Inventory Manager is a web-portal application implemented in ASP.

The application is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The issues include:

- A cross-site scripting vulnerability that affects the 'category' parameter of the 'display_results.asp' script.

- Multiple SQL-injection vulnerabilities that affect the 'pictable' and 'where' parameters of the 'imager.asp' script.

Successful exploits of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, steal cookie-based authentication credentials, or even exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation. Other attacks are also possible.
