Title: Texinfo File Handling Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

Description:
Texinfo is the official documentation format of the GNU project. It is incorporated with various applications such as 'texi2dvi', 'texindex', etc.
Texinfo is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because the application fails to properly bound-check user-supplied input before copying it to an insufficiently sized buffer. Specifically, the application fails to handle specially crafted files.
An attacker can exploit this issue to crash the affected application, denying service to legitimate users. Arbitrary code execution may also be possible, but this has not been confirmed.
