Description:
OpenLDAP server is prone to denial-of-service vulnerability because the application fails to handle exceptional conditions.
Specifically, the problem occurs because the server fails to properly handle malicious bind requests. Remote attackers can exploit this issue by including malicious BIND requests causing a crash in the LDAP server, effectively denying service to legitimate users.
