Title: OpenDocMan Username SQL Injection Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

OpenDocMan is a open-source document manager implemented in PHP.

The application is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in an SQL query. Specifically, the application fails to sanitize input to the 'username' parameter of the 'index.php' script

Exploiting this vulnerability could permit remote attackers to pass malicious input to database queries, resulting in the modification of query logic or other attacks.

A successful exploit could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.

OpenDocMan 1.2p3, 1.2rc3 and prior versions are vulnerable to this issue.

Affected Products:

  • OpenDocMan OpenDocMan 1.2p3
  • OpenDocMan OpenDocMan 1.2rc3
