Title: TorrentFlux Admin.PHP Multiple HTML Injection Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
TorrentFlux is a web-based torrent application implemented in PHP.
The application is prone to multiple HTML-injection vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'action', 'file', and 'user_id' parameters of the 'admin.php' script before using it in dynamically generated content. This input will be stored persistently on the affected site and may be rendered by a victim administrator when the 'Activity Log' is viewed.
Attacker-supplied HTML and script code would execute in the context of the affected site, potentially allowing the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials or to control how the site is rendered to the user; other attacks are also possible.
Version 2.1 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
Affected Products:
- TorrentFlux TorrentFlux 2.1
