Description:
Premod Shadow is a modification of PHPBB; it is implemented in PHP.
The applicaiton is prone to a remote file-include vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied input to the 'phpbb_root_path' parameter of the 'includes/functions_portal.php' script.
An attacker can exploit this issue to have malicious PHP code execute in the context of the webserver process. This may allow the attacker to compromise the application and the underlying system; other attacks are also possible.
Premod Shadow 2.7.1 and previous versions are affected by this vunerability.
