Title: TWiki Configure Script TYPEOF Parameter Remote Command Execution Vulnerability

Description:

TWiki is a web-based application that allows users to create and maintain sites using a browser. It is implemented in Perl CGI.

A remote command-execution vulnerability affects the application. An input-validation error in the '/bin/configure' script fails to properly verify input to the 'TYPEOF' parameter. Attackers could exploit this to execute arbitrary system commands with the privileges of the webserver process.

This attack would occur in the context of the vulnerable application and can facilitate unauthorized remote access.
