Title: Paddelberg Top XL Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

Paddelberg Top XL is a top-site script implemented in PHP.

Top XL is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. These issues affect the following script and parameter groups:

add.php : pass, pass2
members/index.php : id

An attacker may leverage any of these issues to have arbitrary script code execute in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.

Versions 1.1 and prior are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.

Affected Products:

  • paddelberg.de Top XL 1.0
  • paddelberg.de Top XL 1.1
