Title: PHP-Blogger Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
PHP-Blogger is a web-log application, implemented in PHP.
PHP-Blogger is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. These issues affect the 'title' and 'description' parameters of the 'admin/actions.php' script.
An attacker may leverage any of these issues to have arbitrary script code execute in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Affected Products:
- PHP-Blogger PHP-Blogger 2.2.4
- PHP-Blogger PHP-Blogger 2.2.5
