Title: F5 Firepass 4100 SSL VPN Multiple Unspecified Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
FirePass 4100 SSL VPN is a secure Virtual Private Network device that uses SSL versus the standard IPSec VPN.
FirePass 4100 SSL VPN is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. These issues are due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The specific scripts and parameters affected are not currently known; this BID will be updated as more information becomes available.
An attacker may leverage these issues to have arbitrary script code execute in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
FirePass 4100 SSL VPN 5.x versions are affected.
Affected Products:
- F5 FirePass 4100 5.4.2
