Title: CosmicShoppingCart Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
CosmicShoppingCart is a web-based e-commerce shopping-cart application written in PHP.
CosmicShoppingCart is prone to multiple input-validation vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. A cross-site scripting vulnerability and a SQL-injection vulnerability affect the 'query' and 'max' parameters of the 'search.php' script.
Other parameters and scripts may also be vulnerable.
An attacker may leverage these issues to compromise the application, access or modify data, steal cookie-based authentication credentials, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation. Other attacks may also be possible.
Affected Products:
- CosmicPHP CosmicShoppingCart
