Description:

The Edge eCommerce Shop is a web-based e-commerce application implemented in ASP.

The Edge eCommerce Shop is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue arises because the application fails to sanitize user-supplied input.

Specifically, this issue presents itself because the application fails to sanitize input provided through the 'cart_id' parameter of the 'productDetail.asp' script.

An attacker may leverage this issue to have arbitrary script code run in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
