Title: ESTsoft InternetDisk Arbitrary File Upload and Script Execution Vulnerability
Severity: HIGH
Description:
ESTsoft InternetDisk is a web-based file-storage application implemented in PHP.
ESTsoft InternetDisk is prone to an arbitrary file-upload and script-execution vulnerability because the software fails to properly ensure that uploaded data files are not interpreted and executed by the webserver. By uploading PHP scripts to a user's file space, an attacker can cause further requests for the file to execute the script code, rather than download it.
An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to upload arbitrary code and execute it in the context of the webserver process. This may facilitate unauthorized access or privilege escalation; other attacks are also possible.
This issue affects versions of InternetDisk downloaded prior to 19 April, 2006.
