Description:
4D's WebSTAR is a web, mail and FTP server for Mac OS.
Due to a bug in improper handling of user input, it may be possible for users to cause a denial of service against WebSTAR. It has been reported that WebSTAR will crash if its http server recieves an oversized http request. Though unverified, it is believed this is a buffer overflow condition due to a lack of bounds checking.
Exploitation of this leads to a denial of service until a manual re-start.
