Title: 4nForum Modules.PHP SQL Injection Vulnerability

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

4nForum is a web-based forum application implemented in ASP.

4nForum is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability. The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in an SQL query. Specifically, data passed to the 'tid' parameter of the 'modules.php' script isn't properly sanitized.

This vulnerability could permit remote attackers to pass malicious input to database queries, resulting in the modification of query logic or other attacks.

A successful exploit could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.

Affected Products:

  • WarpSpeed 4nForum 0.91.0
