Description:
DeluxeBB is a web-based bulletin-board application, implemented in PHP.
DeluxeBB is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability. The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied cookie data to the 'name' parameter of the 'misc.php' script.
This vulnerability could permit remote attackers to pass malicious input to database queries, resulting in the modification of query logic or other attacks.
A successful exploit could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.
DeluxeBB version 1.06 is vulnerable to this issue; other versions may also be affected.
