Title: CGI::Session Multiple Information Disclosure Vulnerabilities
Severity: HIGH
Description:
CGI::Session is a Perl/CGI session library.
CGI::Session is prone to multiple information-disclosure vulnerabilities. The application fails to properly set file permissions on files that may contain sensitive data.
The application fails to properly set read permissions on files in the '/tmp' directory, which contain user session data. In some cases, these files may be stored in a web-accessible location.
An attacker can exploit these issues to retrieve the credentials of an arbitrary user.
If an attacker can retrieve an administrative user's credentials, the attacker may then compromise the affected application. Other attacks are also possible.
