Title: ENet Multiple Denial of Service Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

ENet is an open-source library for handling UDP connections.

ENet is prone to multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities. A remote attacker can send specifically crafted data to trigger these flaws, leading to a denial of service.

These issues are present in the 'enet_protocol_handle_send_fragment' and 'enet_protocol_handle_incoming_commands' functions, both in the 'protocol.c' source file.

An attacker may create a command packet containing one or more negative 32-bit numbers, which causes the vulnerable application to point to invalid memory buffers. The next command packet received by the application will cause a denial-of-service condition.

An attacker may also cause the application to crash by requesting more memory for a command buffer than is available; this will also cause a denial-of-service condition.
