Title: WordPress Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
WordPress is a web-based publishing application implemented in PHP.
WordPress is prone to multiple unspecified cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. These issues are due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The precise scripts and parameters these issues affect is currently not known. This BID will be updated as further information becomes available.
An attacker may leverage these issues to have arbitrary script code executed in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may facilitate the theft of cookie-based authentication credentials as well as other attacks.
