Akarru Social BookMarking Engine is a bookmark-management application written in PHP.
Akarru Social BookMarking Engine is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability. The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in an SQL query. Specifically, input to the 'User Name' parameter of the 'users.php' script is not properly sanitized.
This vulnerability could permit remote attackers to pass malicious input to database queries, resulting in the modification of query logic or other attacks.
A successful exploit could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.
Versions prior to 0.4.3.4 are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
