DirectContact is a webserver for Windows platforms.

DirectContact is prone to a directory-traversal vulnerability. The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The problem occurs with specially crafted HTTP GET requests containing directory-traversal strings.

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to retrieve arbitrary files from the vulnerable system in the context of the application. Information obtained may aid in further attacks.

DirectContact 0.3b is reportedly vulnerable.
