Description:
Quirex is a web-based quiz system implemented in Perl.
Quirex is prone to a remote information-disclosure vulnerability. This issue is due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'quiz_head', 'quiz_foot', and 'template' parameters of 'convert.cgi'.
An attacker can exploit this issue to retrieve arbitrary files in the context of the webserver process. Information obtained may aid in further attacks.
