Description:
CGIWrap is a gateway application to limit the permissions of users running CGI and HTML scripts; the application is written in the Perl/CGI programming language.
CGIWrap is prone to an information-disclosure vulnerability. This issue results from a design error.
The vulnerability presents itself due to excessive information being provided when an error occurs during program execution; these messages are generated regardless of error message settings.
This can allow attackers to obtain sensitive information pertaining to the application. Information gathered through the exploitation of this issue may aid in other attacks.
CGIWrap versions prior to 3.10 are affected by this issue.
