Title: PHP-Fusion Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities

Severity: MODERATE

Description:

PHP-Fusion is a website-management application, implemented in PHP.

PHP-Fusion is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. User-supplied input is not properly sanitized when submitted to the 'comment_name' parameter of the 'includes/comments_include.php' script and to the 'shout_name' parameter of the 'infusions/shoutbox_panel/shoutbox_panel.php' script, subsequently allowing an attacker to submit malicious HTML and script code.

An attacker may leverage these issues to have arbitrary script code executed in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may facilitate the theft of cookie-based authentication credentials as well as other attacks.

Versions 6.00.303 and prior are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
