Description:
The phpBB Rlink module is designed to enhance the functionality of phpBB.
The phpBB Rlink module is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue is due to a failure in the module to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'url' parameter of the 'rlink.php' script.
An attacker may leverage this issue to have arbitrary script code executed in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. These may facilitate the theft of cookie-based authentication credentials as well as other attacks.
