Cerberus Helpdesk is a Web based helpdesk application written in PHP.
Cerberus Helpdesk is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability. The 'contact_search' parameter of the 'clients.php' script is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability. Other unidentified scripts and parameters are reported to be vulnerable as well.
An attacker may leverage this issue to have arbitrary script code executed in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. These may facilitate the theft of cookie-based authentication credentials as well as other attacks.
