Title: Blue Coat Systems WinProxy Telnet Remote Denial Of Service Vulnerability

Description:
WinProxy is an Internet sharing proxy server that also hosts a series of security, anti-spam and anti-spyware capabilities. WinProxy is available for the Microsoft Windows platform.
WinProxy is prone to a remote denial of service vulnerability. This issue is due to a failure in the application to properly handle user-supplied data.
The problem occurs when a large string of '0xFF' characters is sent to the WinProxy telnet server listening on TCP port 23. The stream causes a heap corruption and crashes the application.
A remote attacker can exploit this issue to crash the server denying service to legitimate users. Remote code execution may be possible but is unlikely.
This issue affects WinProxy version 6.0; earlier versions are also likely vulnerable.
