Title: FatWire UpdateEngine Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
FatWire UpdateEngine is a content management system.
FatWire UpdateEngine is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. These issues are due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input to 'FUELAP_TEMPLATENAME', 'EMAIL', 'COUNTRYNAME' parameters.
An attacker may leverage these issues to have arbitrary script code executed in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may facilitate the theft of cookie-based authentication credentials as well as other attacks.
These issues affect versions 6.2 and prior.
Affected Products:
- FatWire UpdateEngine 6.2.0
