Title: Acidcat CMS Multiple Input Validation Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
Acidcat CMS is a Web site and content management application written in ASP.
Acidcat CMS is prone to multiple input validation vulnerabilities. These issues are due to a lack of proper sanitization of user-supplied input.
An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the application. This is due to the fact that the 'databases/acidcat.mdb' database is stored in a Web-accessible location.
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities exists in the 'ID' parameter of the
'main_content.asp' and 'default.asp' scripts. These vulnerabilities could permit remote attackers to view sensitive information, or pass malicious input to database queries, resulting in modification of query logic or other attacks.
Successful exploitation could result in a compromise of the application, disclosure or modification of data, or may permit an attacker to exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.
Acidcat CMS version 2.1.13 and prior are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
Affected Products:
- Acidcat CMS 2.1.13
