Title: Flyspray Multiple Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
Flyspray is a web-based bug-tracking system for software developers that is implemented in PHP.
Flyspray is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. These issues are due to a lack of proper sanitization of user-supplied input.
Multiple parameters are not properly sanitized when submitted to the 'index.php' script, and subsequently allow an attacker to submit malicious HTML and script code.
The following is a list of affected parameters:
PHPSESSID, task, string, type, serv, due, dev, sort2
An attacker may leverage this issue to have arbitrary script code executed in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may facilitate the theft of cookie-based authentication credentials as well as other attacks.
