Title: Trust Digital Trusted Mobility Suite Authentication Bypass Vulnerability
Severity: LOW
Description:
Trusted Mobility Suite detects, controls and centrally manages mobile devices. It also pushes security policy and disables lost or stolen devices.
Trusted Mobility Suite is prone to an authentication bypass vulnerability.
By design, the application requires a user to authenticate using their 'domain' and 'password' before permitting 'activesync' or other syncing to occur. The problem presents itself when a handheld device is connected for the first time. A user can click on the cancel button of the PC Policy window, an authentication window, and proceed to sync without requiring authentication.
Exploitation of this vulnerability effectively bypasses any policy in place with regards to the currently connected handheld device.
Affected Products:
- Trust Digital Trusted Mobility Suite 2.0.0
- Trust Digital Trusted Mobility Suite 3.0.0
