Description:
ASP Portal is a portal Web site application implemented in ASP. It uses a Microsoft Access database as the back end.
ASP Portal is prone to an SQL injection vulnerability. This issue is due to a failure in the application to properly sanitize user-supplied input to the 'password' parameter of 'login.asp' before using it in an SQL query.
Exploitation of the vulnerability results in the successful authentication to the admin account permitting full access to the admin control features and the news management board. An attacker can easily edit, create or delete news articles.
