Title: Norton Antivirus for MS Exchange 'Fail-Open' State Vulnerability

Description:
Under certain circumstances, Norton AntiVirus for MS Exchange will enter a 'fail-open' state and fail to reject email messages containing viruses and continue to send the infected email to the intended recipients. However, the transmittal of the infected email will be logged in the Event Viewer. Norton AntiVirus will continue to remain in the 'fail-open' state until the service is restarted.
