Title: Golden FTP Server Pro Directory Traversal Vulnerability
Severity: MODERATE
Description:
Golden FTP Server Pro is susceptible to a directory traversal vulnerability.
This vulnerability presents itself when a '\..' argument is passed to 'Get' FTP commands issued to the FTP server.
It is conjectured that this vulnerability allows a remote attacker to read files outside of the FTP document root directory. An attacker may read files with the privileges of the FTP server process.
An attacker may retrieve sensitive files on the hosting computer, potentially aiding them in further system compromise.
