Title: Oracle Database 8i/9i Multiple Remote Directory Traversal Vulnerabilities

Description:
Oracle Database server is reported prone to multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities that may allow a remote attacker to read, write, or rename arbitrary files with the privileges of the Oracle Database server.
The issues are reported to exist due to a lack of sufficient input validation performed on filenames and paths passed to file processing functions, and may allow a malicious SQL query to traverse outside of a directory that is described in an Oracle directory object.
The Oracle UTL_FILE package is reported to be affected by these issues, specifically the 'fopen' and 'frename' functions are reported vulnerable. Other functions and packages might also be affected.
It is reported that these issues may be leveraged by a remote attacker to access arbitrary files that exist on the same physical drive as the folder that is described in a target directory object. Additionally it is reported that the UTL_FILE package has execute permission to public role, this means that any Oracle database user that has sufficient permissions to access a target directory object may exploit this issue.
