IceWarp Web Mail is web based access software for the IceWarp Email Server, it is available for Microsoft Windows Platforms.
IceWarp is reported to be affected by an unspecified login security vulnerability. This is most likely due to the application failing to properly sanitize user-supplied input. The vendor has reported that versions earlier than IceWarp 1.40.10 are vulnerable.
We can conjecture that this vulnerability could possibly lead to an unauthorized user gaining access to the system. At that point other attacks may also be possible.
Very little information is available on this vulnerability other than the vendor has stated it has corrected the issue in IceWarp 1.4.10.
