Description:
SecureCRT is a Secure Shell (SSH) client for Microsoft Windows operating systems. It is maintained and distributed by Van Dyke Software.
SecureCRT is reported prone to a remote denial of service vulnerability. This issue may allow an attacker to crash the application.
It is reported that this vulnerability may be triggered by supplying an excessive hostname value of over 512 bytes to the application. Apparently, this causes the client application to crash.
This issue is reported to affect SecureCRT 3.4.
