Title: Benchmark Designs WHM AutoPilot Multiple Remote Vulnerabilities

Severity: HIGH

Description:

WHM AutoPilot is a script designed to administer a web-hosting environment.

WHM AutoPilot is reported prone to multiple remote vulnerabilities. These issues exist due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied input. An attacker may exploit these vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary script code on a vulnerable server or a user's browser.

The following specific issues were identified:

The application is reported prone to a remote file include vulnerability. This issue may allow an attacker to include malicious files containing arbitrary script code to be executed on a vulnerable computer.

The vulnerability reportedly exists because remote users may influence the 'server_inc' URI parameter in the 'step_one.php', 'step_one_tables.php', and 'step_two_tables.php' scripts to include malicious PHP scripts. The attacker-supplied scripts can execute in the context of the Web server hosting the vulnerable application.

The application is reported prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities as well. The problems present themselves when malicious HTML and script code is sent to the application through the 'site_title' and 'http_images' parameters of the 'header.php' script.

These issues could permit a remote attacker to create a malicious URI link that includes hostile HTML and script code. If this link were to be followed, the hostile code may be rendered in the web browser of the victim user. This would occur in the security context of the affected web site and may allow for theft of cookie-based authentication credentials or other attacks.

All versions of WHM AutoPilot are considered vulnerable to these issues.
