Title: Microsoft Windows ANI File Denial of Service Vulnerability

Description:
The Microsoft ANI file format reads and stores Windows Animated Cursors (animated mouse pointer). A '.ani' file is a structured format (Microsoft RIFF) that contains animation information followed by frames in the icon format.
The Windows kernel fails to properly process '.ani' files under certain conditions. The issue is caused by a lack of sufficient sanitization performed on either the frame and rate number sets before they are processed.
The kernel fails to perform proper sanitization on the frame number set in the ANI file header. In the event that the kernel attempts to parse a '.ani' file with an offset of 0x78 in the file header, and the frame number is set to 0, an incorrect address will be calculated, which would result in a system crash.
The kernel also fails to perform proper sanitization on the rate number set in the ANI file header. In the event that the kernel attempts to parse a '.ani' file with the rate number set to 0, a system crash would result.
